D&K will be closed on Monday 7th May. We will re-open as normal on Tuesday 8th.
D&K Europe, the English based arm of the D&K Group, will demonstrate the Europa, Jupiter DS and Proteus Laminators.
Managing Director, Robin French said: “At this Drupa we will mostly be concentrating on demonstrating our range of fully automated thermal laminating machines. This core range has been developed for the printer and print finisher and we show that bringing a laminator in house can give more control in meeting tight deadlines, give an edge over the competition and add the potential for additional profit. Drupa has always been a great platform for us to showcase our product range to both existing and emerging markets”
The Europa B2 laminator has exceeded worldwide sales of over 100 machines since its launch at IPEX 2010. Its compact footprint, high specification, build quality and modest price tag have all contributed to its success.
The Jupiter DS (one-side/two-side laminator) is based on the proven range of Jupiter B2 laminators which include the Jupiter 25 & 35 single-sided laminators. The Jupiter DS will be fitted with a D&K stacker to demonstrate improved productivity.
Proteus sales have also exceeded 100 units and will be featured with both a pre-loader and stacker - demonstrating pallet to pallet operation.
As well as laminators D&K also offers a range of encapsulation & wide format machines plus the new range of equipment for the photographic industry. Wide format lamination will also feature on the stand. Our comprehensive film range includes mounting, laminating and encapsulating films; including SuperStick® for digital output.

There are less than three months to go until doors of Drupa 2012 open. The planning of D&K’s stand is well underway and details of the machines being demonstrated will be confirmed soon.
During Drupa 2008 there were 1,971 exhibitors from 52 countries. 390,000 visitors attended from 140 countries - including 59 % from outside Germany.

The show is open from May 3 - 16. Opening times are Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
